This was Brinkley's first experience with oatmeal as you can see she would rather just eat her fingers. Oatmeal is not her favorite and she has just learned how to spit so she just spits most of it out on me!

We went to lunch with my family before Remick had to go to the MTC. He is going to the Italy, Catania mission. This is what our family looks like when Rem left. It is crazy to think that Wyatt will be four and Brinkley will be two when he comes home and we could possibly have one on the way.

It was our anual Rappleye girls weekend. We had such a great time. We stayed at Zach and Stacey's house on Friday and Saturday night. On Saturday we went to park city, it was so much fun I have not been there for a really long time, so it was fun to shop at the outlets. I can't wait until our next girls weekend out!!

The Women
Wyatt was a huge fan of decorating easter eggs. Jon got called into work so I decided to take Wyatt and Brinkley to Wyoming for Easter. We had such a good time. Everyone ended up coming, so it was a full house. I am just glad that the bunny found us!!

Wyatt was not a fan of the snow until the very end of the season. He would cry if I ever made him wear a coat. He would only wear this little red jacket that was almost to small, so I just looked like a bad mom everywhere we went!! He finally put on his snow clothes and went out with Jon and played in the snow, I am sure it was our very last snow fall, but after that he always wanted to wear his big puffy coat. He wore it all spring!
Brinkley's Blessing Day
We blessed Brinkley when she was three months old. It was such a nice day. All of my family and Jon's family were able to come. Jon did such a great job, we are so greatfull to have the priesthood in our home. After the blessing everyone came over and we had lunch it was a lot of work, but definitley worth it!

This was a rare moment. Wyatt has pretty much ignored the fact that he has a baby sister. He never wants to hold her or really even be by her. The only reason he is letting her sit by him is because he wants to be in her baby toy. He thinks every toy in the house is his. It is going to be rough when she starts playing with toys, I don't know if he will be able to handle it!! I am just glad that he is not mean to her!
Rare Moment!
We were able to go to the Draper Temple open house. It was such a neat experience. I am glad that Wyatt was able to see a temple even though he will most likely not remember it. I am so greatfull for temple work and that I am able to attend the temple. We are so lucky to be surrounded by temples!

Wyatt turned Two February 5th. When he woke up that morning I had decorated the fireplace and had all of his presents sitting out. Wyatt loves to open presents I don't even think he cares what is inside he just likes wripping the paper off, which come on who doesn't love that. Jon had to work that day, but when he got home we went to artic circle for dinner so that Wyatt could play in their playland. He was in heaven. When he was done playing we took him to build a bear and he got to choose an animal to stuff and take home. He chose a really cute dog that he named skooder. I find that pretty funny because he doesn't even like our dog skooder! It turned out to be a really fun day. I can't beleieve he is two!!
Wyatt's Birthday
I am going to try this blogging thing again, because I think it is a good way to keep a family journal. We will see how it goes. This year has flown by, I can't believe it is June. I am going to start at the beginning and try to catch up with everything that has happened this year. I will start with Brinkley. Brinkley was born January 5th she weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces. The doctor thought that she was going to be a tiny baby and well he was wrong!! Brinkley has been the best baby. She has pretty much slept through the night since the day we brought her home. She must love me a lot or she just knows that I don't function well without sleep!
